Jessica Simpson reportedly took TEN pregnancy tests to confirm that she was definitely pregnant.
Jessica was apparently so shocked when she learned she was knocked up, "she called a close friend and asked to buy several more tests and rush them over."
Ever since a doctor confirmed the pregnancy on September 19, a pal says that "she's the happiest she's ever been."
And she's not the only happy one. When she told fiance Eric Johnson, "he told her he wasn't happy - he was ecstatic beyond words."
