Despite the fact that he received a nomination this year, Maroon 5 frontman/Voice coach Adam Levine had less than nice things to say about MTV's Video Music Awards on Twitter.
Here's what he tweeted about the event:
"the VMA's. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I'm drawing a line in the sand. F–k you VMA's."And just an hour after the tweet, he
"Still waiting to have my Jerry Macguire mission statement moment of deep regret…’ Not happening. Phew!"And here's what MTV wrote in response:
"Soooo you'll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!"
